This mid-century modern house is currently for sale in Denver, Colorado. And it is a lovely mid-century specimen. But needs some tender love & care on the inside.
I have posted before on the fabulous collection of mid-century homes in Palm Springs California. Since it is still winter outside in Colorado, I would like to again return to Palm Springs for some lustful house-peeping.
This mid-century built house is currently on the market in Palm Springs for $1,249,000… apparently, it used to belong to Dinah Shore!
I am insanely excited to display this mid-century modern home located in the hip Krisana neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. This creative cornucopia of color just went under contract and I am hoping that the new owners don’t change a thing!
I found this house – currently for sale – in Montrose, Colorado.
The outside is very nice and well-kept, but… meh.
Nondescript and common, it doesn’t scream out any particular style except perhaps the ubiquitous suburban split-level.
In a previous post I stated that I was primarily obsessed with old (pre-1900 era) houses. That’s not entirely true. I enjoy houses from all vintages. I enjoy anything that has character and history, even if it is only ten years old.
One of my favorite house era’s, however, is the mid-century time period. How can you not love that time period? The decade of the 1950’s gave us the likes of: Mr. Potato Head, super glue, the hovercraft, the hula hoop and Liquid paper, among other creative devices.
