Cottage cutie in Colorado Springs

Nothing huge and fancy today.

But how about this sweet little bungalow?

It is located in the historic downtown area of Colorado Springs, Colorado. It is currently for sale for $165,000.

This yellow & blue charmer is only 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, but jam-packed with character.

Take off your shoes and come on in to this welcoming bungalow…

The furniture is worn, but you can tell this house has been loved.

Just look at the built-in cabinets and window seat in the dining room!

Did you notice the leaded glass work on the right wall windows?

The kitchen has obviously had some recent updating, but charming nonetheless…

This house exudes coziness… but at 1430 total square feet, it is actually larger than I expected.

Have a gander at the vintage bathroom complete with claw-foot tub, antique plumbing fixtures and original tile floors!

(Is that a chamber pot peeking out from under the tub?) So cute!

Built in 1903, the rooms are small but efficient – true to a bungalow-style home.

The enclosed back porch looks so relaxing and inviting:

This cozy house makes my heart flutter a little bit. I love how the decor is so casual, yet period-appropriate:

The cuteness continues right on out to the backyard:

Some wonderful shade trees for a lovely backyard garden…

Even the garage is cute…

Despite this house being only 2b/1b, I will definitely put it on my list to go check out the next time I go house-hunting in Colorado Springs!

(I cannot resist an adorable cottage bungalow!)
